about
The new BSOC single tells the story of two shy people who get to know each other while dancing. They move from club to club so that the night doesn't come to an end. Musically, we follow the two of them. It's a classic duet with alternating parts of synth-pop, a touch of acid house, sudden bursts of indie rock - you name it.
lyrics
DANCE LIKE EVERYONE'S WATCHING
We watch as everyone’s dancing
You’re on the other side of the crowd
and the second I catch sight of you
all noise is canceled out
We meet later at the bar
you're so shy and I am too
so I hardly say a word
but that sounds fine to you
We tell jokes that are not funny
I already love your smile
We try not to laugh cause we're nervous
and we're not-dancing for a while
But then we dance like everyone’s watching
we pump our feet into the ground
our minds are kissing shyly
while we’re still guessing what we’ve found
Some thirty minutes later
we leave for another club
our hands touch without permission
but I won't be the one to stop
The music is getting louder
we slowly forget where we are
just 4 on the floor and the 2 of us
and helpless chatting at the bar
Again we dance like everyone’s watching
but we can no longer feel the floor
You are so close that I can’t stand it
and when we're both looking for the door...
...we set off for something more indie
there is a suspicious light in the sky
we try not to notice the twilight
cause magic will fade with the night
we don't know how to proceed
except for dancing all night long
There's a neon light and a mirror ball
what could possibly go wrong
Vampires fear the sunlight
and we are afraid to leave alone
but when the magic has grown some muscles
I can safely walk you home
This night will last forever
this night must not stop
We hang our clothes on the sun
So this night goes on and on
